Wines of Merritt supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. You must be over 18 to place an order, or to receive a delivery.

 

Returns & Refunds policy

If your delivery is incorrect, damaged, or unsatisfactory in any way please email us with the details within 7 days. If you receive a delivery with any breakages we will organise for the broken bottle(s) to be replaced at no additional charge. We will bear the reasonable cost of returning goods that are incorrect. Any products that are returned must be unopened.

Risk of damage, loss or deterioration to product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no refunds are offered for products that are damaged after delivery.

 

 

Delivery information

Wines are shipped with Australia Post and you should expect delivery of your wine within 3 to 10 working days, depending on your location. Postage is calculated once you have completed your shopping and will be displayed at the checkout when your payment is finalised.

A signature is required on all deliveries. When you are not available at the time the delivery is attempted Australia Post will leave a card to let you know the wines are available to be collected at your Post Office. If you are unable to collect the wine within 10 days Australia Post may return the wine and additional charges may apply for re-delivery.

Appropriate ID may be required to ensure the recipient is not less than 18 years of age. On delivery please inspect the goods to ensure there are no breakages and that the correct items have been received.

 

Incorrect address/delivery details.

If any deliveries cannot be made due to an incorrect address or incorrect delivery details, the wines will be returned to us, additional postage charges will apply for re-delivery. Wines of Merritt cannot be held responsible for deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses which are provided by the customer. If the incorrect address is supplied to us and the delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.

 

Privacy policy

Wines of Merritt keeps the information you have provided to us confidential. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on or sell any of your personal details with anyone. We use your details provided to process your order(s), provide you with customer service and to provide you with our newsletter.

 

Credit Cards

Credit card information is sent to the National Australia Bank, using industry standard 2048bit SSL Security Certificate, for processing. No information is stored by Wines of Merritt or it’s server. All prices listed are in Australian Dollars.

Comments

 

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

 

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

 

Media

 

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
